Creamy Mustard Broccoli

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 medium broccoli stalks

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon wine vinegar

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1/2 cup sour cream

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dry mustard

2 tablespoons chopped green onions

 

Trim outer leaves and remove tough part of stem from broccoli.

 

Cut lengthwise into serving pieces.

 

In a large saucepan, bring 1 inch water to a boil.

 

Add broccoli and cover.

 

Reduce heat and simmer 10 to 12 minutes, or until stems are tender crisp.

 

Drain.

 

Combine remaining ingredients and mix well.

 

Pour sauce over hot broccoli, tossing gently, using just enough to coat evenly.
