Crunchy Celery Amandine

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 tablespoons butter or margarine

1/3 cup slivered almonds

4 cups celery--sliced diagonally

1 teaspoon powdered chicken bouillon base

1 tablespoon instant minced onion

1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar

1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

1/8 teaspoon ground ginger

 

Saute' almonds in butter or margarine until lightly browned.

 

Add remaining ingredients.

 

Mix well.

 

Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes, or until celery is tender

crisp.
