Vegetable Rice Pilaf

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1/3 cup butter or margarine

1 1/2 cups uncooked rice

1 onion--finely chopped

3 cups water

2 teaspoons chicken -in- a- mug

 

Place rice, onion and celery in a 2 quart casserole.

 

Cook uncovered 5 minutes.

 

Stir well.

 

Add reaming ingredients and cook covered 10 minutes, stirring twice.

 

Let stand covered 10 minutes to finish cooking.
