In March 2002 " Melissa Clifford " <mclifford973, made this and posted

it to MC TasteTested list. (It's from Mr. Mad's site...which is offline right

now, I hear.)

 

Today I made it (used cilantro for the herb) and it was yummy. Who wouldn't

like this? (I used part low-fat Best Foods mayo and part full fat.) I fear I

shouldn't have made it and then stayed here alone with it...because...it's gone

Hot Artichoke Dip

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 can Artichoke hearts - (14 oz) -- drained, chopped

1/2 cup Grated parmesan cheese

1/2 cup Mayonnaise

2 Green onions - (to 3) -- finely chopped

2 teaspoons Tabasco brand Green Pepper Sauce

1 teaspoon Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce

1/2 cup Finely chopped fresh herbs

(i.e. parsley, basil, dill, chives)

2 Belgian endive heads -- (optional)

Salt -- to taste

 

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients.

Transfer to shallow baking dish and bake for 30 minutes. Serve with chips,

pita triangles, crackers or raw vegetable sticks and slices. This recipe yields

about 3 cups.
