Using MC 4.06 has anybody been able to get a title list of the

recipes in a cookbook other than printing them on paper. I would

like a File list to accompany a cookbook that I am trying to publish

on CD-ROM. Sorry for the off topic post and please write direct so

we don't post any more OT than necessary

are you using windows? then you can.

Install a printer driver that comes on the windows cd.

called generic text only.

set it's port or destination to file.

run mc4 (4.06/07)

open a cookbook

select print index from the file menu

click the set up/options button

change the printer driver to the generic text only printer

when you print, it will print text to a file asking you to name the file.

it's an old printer driver -- doesn't let us say where to print the file unless

you give it the complete path name. so look for the file in the sierra folder.

if you use a mac -- then do the same thing -- but create a pdf

here's a driver to download

http://www.jwwalker.com/pages/pdf.html

(I haven't tried this -- i did try the windows version of this pdf driver and

liked it. but it's history. it was available and worked in win95/98. but

nothing later.)
