Add 1-1/4 cups chili mix and stir well. Add 2 cans kidney beans (drained and rinsed) and 1 can diced tomatoes (undrained). Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Serve. NATURE'S BURGER: Stove Top Directions: For three 3-inch patties, use 3/4 cup each mix and water. In a heat-resistant bowl, mix Nature's Burger with boiling water. Stir well. Let the mixture stand for 10 to 15 mintues until it has cooled and become stiff. Form into thin patties (1/2 " thick and about 3 " in diameter). Pan-fry on medium heat in nonstick pan (butter or vegetable oil optional). Turn frequently until done and browned on both sides. If desired, melt a slice of cheese on top. Serve on a bun with your favorite condiments and garnishes such as lettuce, tomato, red onion, relish, ketchup or mustard. INSTANT REFRIED BEANS: Stove Top Directions: In a medium-size bowl, add 1-3/4 cups boiling water to 1-1/2 cups refried beans mix. Stir well; cover and let stand 5 minutes. Serve. INSTANT BLACK BEANS: Stove Top Directions: In a medium-size bowl, add 2 cups boiling water to 1-1/3 cups black beans mix. Stir well; cover and let stand 5 minutes. Serve. HUMMUS: Stove Top Directions: Place 1 cup mix in bowl. Add 1-1/2 cups warm water and 2 Tbsp olive oil. Stir until well blended (wire whisk works best). Let stand 5 minutes. TABOULI: Stove Top Directions: In a large bowl, mix 1 cup tabouli with 1-1/4 cups water. Add 2 Tbsp olive oil and 2 finely chopped tomatoes. Mix well. Let stand 1 hour to absorb the water. Refrigerate if desired. Stir and serve. If desired add any of the following: fresh lemon juice, chopped fresh parsley, sliced green onions, diced cucumber and/or fresh mint. COUSCOUS: Stove Top Directions: To make 1 cup couscous, bring 3/4 cup water to a boil. Add 1/2 cup dry couscous and stir. Cover; remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving. FALAFEL: Stove Top Directions: In a large bowl, add 1-1/4 cups water to 1-2/3 cups falafel mix and stir well. Let stand 15 minutes to absorb the water. Form mix into 1 " balls. Heat about 1/2 " vegetable oil to 375 degrees. Fry balls until brown and crisp (about 3 minutes). Drain and serve. ARBORIO RICE: Stove Top Directions: To make 1 cup Arborio Rice, rinse rice well. Bring 2 cups water to a boil. Add 1 cup Arborio Rice, stir and return to boil. Lower heat and cover. Simmer 15 minutes or until all water has been absorbed. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Stir before serving. JASMINE RICE: Stove Top Directions: To make 1 cup Jasmine Rice, rinse rice well. Bring 2 cups water to a boil. Add 1 cup Jasmine Rice, stir and return to boil. Lower heat and cover. Simmer 15 minutes or until all water has been absorbed. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Stir before serving. BASMATI RICE: Stove Top Directions: To make 1 cup Basmati Rice, rinse rice well. Bring 2 cups water to a boil. Add 1 cup Basmati Rice, stir and return to boil. Lower heat and cover. Simmer 15 minutes or until all water has been absorbed. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes.
