Guest guest Posted March 26, 2003 Report Share Posted March 26, 2003 * Exported from MasterCook * Peanut Sauce Recipe By :Diane Gilliland for Vegetarian Times Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : {Posted} Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 Tablespoon peanut oil 1/2 cup finely chopped onion 1 cloves garlic -- finely chopped 1 teaspoon Hot Pepper Sesame oil -- (Eden) 1/4 cup soy sauce 2 Tablespoons lime juice 1 1/2 cups coconut milk 1/2 ground coriander 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin 1 cup peanut butter 1/4 cup peanuts -- finely chopped Heat peanut oil in skillet. Add onion and garlic. Saute approximately 4 minutes. Stir in sesame oil, soy sauce, lime juice, coconut milk, coriander, and cumin. Thoroughly blend peanut butter into mixture. Add chopped peanuts. Bring sauce to a simmer over low heat, stirring frequently.
