Guest guest
Every year at this time, at the tail end of the crop, we wonder what else we can do with navel oranges. We juice them, eat them sectioned, add them to salads, make sauces but it's a little like zucchini. Enough already! The tree can bear around 200 pounds! Gasp! Giving them away is out of the question. Everyone here is in the same boat. Including soup kitchens, would you believe!!! April: too many oranges. So --- i'm wondering and hoping you can help this year -- give us some ideas on how to use up the crop. They are sweet right not. They dont freeze well.... Can you help?
