I remember having fun with one basic dough and playing with the shapes and decordations. like spritz " daisy " with candied cherry centers. Serving Size : 48 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Cookies And Bars Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup butter -- at room temperature 2/3 cup sugar 3 egg yolks 1 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract 2 1/2 cups flour -- sifted Cream the butter. Add the sugar, egg yolks and vanilla; beat well. Stir in the flour. Form the dough into four balls. Chill thoroughly. Preheat the oven to 375F. Working with one ball of dough at a time, put the dough in a cookie press and press out various designs and shapes onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
