Guest guest
Hello, Margaret. I travel overseas alot and had the same concern as you. Here is how I solved it. Before my trip, I fold a stack of paper towels to fit in an empty baby wipes container. I make up a solution of boiled, distilled water with the juice of a lemon in it(I boil the lemon peel while boiling the water), then put in a tablespoon of vodka to act as a preservative. I pour the solution into the wipes container and that gives me instant fruit wipes! I wash the veggies, then wipe them off with the wipe, then with a dry paper towel. It leaves just the SLIGHTEST hint of lemon, but at least I know the fruits/vegs are not laden with some foreign pesticide. I hope this helps. I carry them with me whenever I go anywhere.
