Guest guest
Hello everyone, I wanted to let you guys know something I am up to. I am now making raw food gourmet style cuisine at an Alameda Cafe/ Juice Bar called Voila! (www.voilajuice.com). Me and my boyfriend walked in to this place a couple weeks ago and talked to the owner about raw foods. He got very interested in the idea of adding raw food menu and, the rest is history. I am hired to develop/ prepare raw food cuisine. The menu includes: Thai style Mushroom Satay - Made with Trumpet Mushrooms served with Aromatic Almond sauce with Lime Leaves, Pad Thai Noodle - Coconut noodle with Bean Sprouts, Garlic Chives, Zucchini, and the jazz with raw Pad Thai sauce. Today was a day one and my raw dishes did pretty good. A non vegan / non raw fooder woman ordered the Pad Thai and she really loved it (tipped me well, too.) It made me happy. By the way, if you are wondering who I am, I am a Japanese book author on raw food life style (www.mihokosekido.com)I live in California now and doing things that I love! Come check out the cafe when you are in Oakland/East Bay Area. Call ahead to make sure the cafe is open. Hope to see you guys soon ~ Mihoko
Guest guest
Hi Mihoko, I live in Fremont, in bayarea. I will definitely check out your place once I am in that area. Once upon time, I use to work in Alameda. So once in a while I go into that area. I couldn't check out your website, as it is giving some problem. Also, I am looking to make new rawfood friends in bayarea. Cheers, - Hemant. rawalien <rawalien wrote: Hello everyone, I wanted to let you guys know something I am up to.
