Guest guest Posted May 29, 2006 Report Share Posted May 29, 2006 I have put some of my free time this week-end to good use and wanted to share recipe reviews with you. I made the Spanish rice recipe that I got from Judy at www.mawintheraw.blogspot.com It was good, I ate it with avocado and salad as suggested. I didn't soak the barley long enough because I forgot about it..... Then I made the cashew cheese that Margaret has been raving about! It is awesome. I just can't leave it alone, some thing about the tangy taste of it..... YUM. My non raw husband ate it too, as a dip for cauliflower. The other VERY YUMMY thing I made this week-end (so far) is a grape / apple fruit leather. It is really good. I am having to store it out of sight to keep from eating all of it before the work week even starts. I juice purple grapes and apples in my champion juicer, then added a little honey and cinnamon. Sooo good. We made more strawberry leather too, but the grape is my favorite. I appreciate the suggestions everyone gave me last week and I am trying all of them.
