private comments from off-list sources

Dear list members:

It is so nice when we go and visit each other's sites.

If, however, we go to an off-list site, and then want to comment on

what we find there, unless we are going to give the list members the

low-down on what we are talking about, a la

" I was just on Suzie's site, and I saw this widget mentioned, which

was like this and such, and it seemed so nice, and I found one in a

store where I live, so I bought it and I am really happy with it "

 

then any comment is going to be more like a private message, which

would be better handled privately, between you and the site-owner.
