Elle, that is the most succinct statement I have read about a reason

to go raw, " I just know its what I'm supposed to do. " That's the way

I feel about it, too, but I hadn't thought to say it that way. Thank

you!

over. There is no doubt that being in the sun all the time as a

child damaged my skin severely. I have been to dermatologists also,

used Retin A, all of the expensive OTC creams, even had laser

treatment (extremely expensive)...and was told by a dermatologist to

have a laser resurfacing done of my face (which means basically they

burn the top layer of your face off....NOT)....I am 58, but have had

these marks especially on my face since my 30ies. They really do

make me self conscious. Maybe I just need to learn to " live in my

skin " also....I have always felt that they were an indication of some

kind of toxicity and was hoping the raw food regimen would help. But

that's not the major reason I'm goin raw...I just know its what I'm

supposed to do.
