Hi, Lorie! It's anything that isn't a good combination that has been

processed past recognition just for the purpose of pleasing the

palate. It's okay to eat occasionally but not to live on. There are so

many people out there teaching that " as long as it's raw, it's okay "

and that can do more harm than good. Education is key!

hey lorie.......the beauty of raw food is that it is all super delicious and

super nutritious....lol...um i suppose you wouldn't want to eat too many treats

made with dates, and agave, and nuts and carob...hmmmm...

one of my favourite things to eat when i'm feeling indulgent is raw almond

butter, mixed with coconut butter, agave and cocoa powder..... yum pure

heaven...

it is like the best fudgey icing you have ever tasted...

there are a few common cheats in the raw food diet, cheats because they are

not raw but have some nutritional value and can be used sparingly yet pack a

delicious effect ...,,,maple syrup, cocoa, tamari, braggs liquid aminos,

nutritional yeast....that's about it...

alternatively if you are looking for raw candy recipes there must be some on

line....mixing any nut butter with dates, agave, coconut, seeds,,,etc...is

wonderful...

have fun...rvv

It probably won't matter to anyone other than me on here :) but this

falls under " not a good combination " . And cocoa isn't raw.

Not that I would recommend it, but you can get raw cocoa powder now.
