Raw sweet corn off the cob is one of the best tasting treats I can think of, but

you are right Tommie it does cause an uproar. My husband's family just looks at

me so weird, and eating raw sweet corn was some thing that I did before I knew

any thing about a raw life style. It just tastes better! I would have thought

all these Iowa farm kids around me would have at least tried raw corn, but they

haven't. DH has one cousin who eats raw corn, its almost like she is a novelty.

I just can't resist eating a few while we are picking corn, shuck it and eat it

right there in the field. The cooked food eaters are really the people who are

deprived!

I think the perfect meal is eaten standing in the garden and its snow peas,

corn and tomatoes until you are full. Don't even need the cutting board.

Sneak preview the all-new .com. It's not radically different. Just

radically better.

I don't have a garden any more. What with working and everything else

I'm involved in, there's no time. It is the best, though!

Have you noticed that raw corn doesn't come through whole like cooked

corn does? I don't know if you inspect your poo or not but I've seen

watermelon seeds but no corn. :]
