Guest guest
Diana Here (back again after another long fall off the wagon :-0 but raw again ;-) I have a question about sea vegetables and dulse. I know some of the sea weeds have been pulled from the shelves due to toxins found. How about other sea weeds, and in particularly dulse? I adore it...and it is used in many of our raw recipes. I would also like to find a decent price and a " clean " dulse without all the junk left in like little shells, etc. Blessings, Diana of Dewberry Hill Kassia Fiedor <greenlifeorganics wrote: Does anyone know where to get quality dulse? Guest guest
If you want to order from them, you'd better hurry because they are going to be closed from July 12 through Labor Day. I got mine (Maine Coast) in a store that only sells vegetarian foods. Look around. You may not have to order it online. To tell you the truth, I still haven't opened the package so I can't say if I like it or not. I don't care that much for raw nori or other seaweed based foods. Guess it may be because I've never tasted fish and the flavor is unfamiliar and not pleasant to me. BTW, I e-mailed Alissa Cohen's web site and asked if the nori she sells is marine life free and got an answer back that it is.
