Guest guest
Hello All, I am VERY new to raw-foods, only ate a meal or two at a local raw-foods restaurant and I would like to transition my diet. My boyfriend has given me his Excalibur dehydrator to use so far. He does not have any Telefex sheets though. Is it really necessary? Could I use wax or parchment paper instead? I think I can order Telflex sheets, but I dont want to wait a few days! Please advise. Thanks! Carla
Guest guest
Hi Carla, and welcome. I recommend that you go to our group's home page and search the messages posted on February 17th and March 21st - 26th. There was a whole topic dedicated to the use of tefllex and its alternatives. Hope this helps, Tiffany Lohr P.S. - Just so you know, the wax paper is far better to use. Guest guest
" the wax paper is far better to use.... " I really have to disagree. The wax will melt at a low temperature and I for one, do not care to ingest wax. Parchment and if you are worried about sticking, use a little olive oil or coconut butter.
