(clapping) Good for you! I can't imagine being around all that McDonald's

food all the time. I think they must put something addictive into the smell

of those fries. :) There are some juicing recipes on my wiki site (link

below) as well as some other resources for juicing.

Good luck on this step toward better health!

brother_sun24 (what is your name?) -- just punch " rawfood " into any search

engine and you will be happy. You could make a recipe a day and not make

everything that is out even once in your lifetime.

And isn't there someone on here with a great blog. I remember going to it and

being amazed at her recipes. I know Tommie has a blog, but it wasn't her.

Speak up please and I apologize I can't remember who you are, but it is a

stellar blog for recipes.

Ha ha,

I know which blog you're thinking of! It's " mawintheraw " isn't it? I just

found it a week ago and mentioned it on another list and everyone had heard

of it and loved it. She's totally famous! I was excited because I love

seeing how things are prepared, as a newbie. Also, I can't wait to show her

blog to my mom, who is coming up to visit me soon and will be trying to eat

raw foods with me. She thinks it sounds really complicated to eat like

this, and I hope to show her that it isn't. :)

Used to be in Julie's fasting group. Haven't heard from her in eons. I did a

fast a few years ago,

Used to do a little raw catering, but have not since I am having trouble staying

raw with all the recipes. I have to keep it simple. Some one once told me raw

chefs never stay raw. I believe them.

Because, pardon my saying so, but they eat crap. Just because something is raw

does not mean it

is food for our species! And eventually, if one eats enough nonfood, one becomes

sufficiently

depleted/deficient that one explodes into almost unstoppable cravings.

It's not perfect - but I do a blog if you want to check it out.

I am having a hard time keeping up with blogging - too much going on right

now

but it's a start for you anyway.

Good luck!

I went to your site several times. I like it. Thanks for the link references

and the recipes.

I noticed you substituted curry for garam masala. I invite you to try to get

that spice - it is a combination of a few spices but delicious. Use is

sparingly at first. It was my favorite spice before I became raw - I was into

Indian food for some time.

Your blog is the bomb Judy!!

You make everything look so easy and have inspired me to experiment when I

do not have the exact ingredients ( and not be anal)

I think that is why I have fallen away before because I end up just eating

the same salads day in and day out and just have a hard time fixing raw and

unraw foods.

I am now incorporating Raw into my family diet , while I am now nearly 100%

Raw!! YEAH!

I need to ditch that caffeine boost in the morning.

I made Raw bluebrry pie from blueberries we picked and my kids loved it sooo

much that I had to make a 2nd!

My eldest son nearly devoured the whole thing before he found out it was

good for him! :o)

Thanks for sharing your journey, it is really a leg up for me and others I

am sure!

Sharie - thanks for the email.

It made me smile!

Glad you are doing so well and you are right - some days we eat the same

things

because I am in too big of a rush. Variety is really the key to keeping at

it and

having fun.

I wish I could have tasted your blueberry pie!

Good going to share your raw with your family.

Keep up the great work!
