Guest guest
Owooch! I burned my leg loading a tiller that we had just used and bumped up against the hot muffler (similar) and was totally amazed at how fast it healed by cleansing gently with soap and water and letting it air dry completely...then dripping COLLOIDAL SILVER on it several times a day. Cover it between treatments with a large square gauze bandages. Then when it's not so raw, to speed up healing...you drip hydrogen peroxide over it and let dry before using the colloidal silver. You don't need to wash it with soap and water except for when you bathe. Amazing fast results for me. Guest guest
What do you mean by " it looks like it's getting worse " Could you provide a fairly graphic description of the changes you see? In all likelihood, it's fine. Some do report that honey diminishes scarring, but then they have no earthly idea what would have happened had they not used the honey. Elchanan _____ rawfood [rawfood ] On Behalf Of shoe_lover26 Friday, July 14, 2006 11:09 AM rawfood [Raw Food] burn help! .. I was wondering if anyone had dietary advice for healing a burn faster? I burnt my leg REALLY bad on my motorcycle pipe (I was an idiot and wore shorts on my Harley)...I soaked it in water and applied pure aloe to the burn but it looks as if its getting worse. I am thinking about putting some raw honey on it but not sure. I already eat a raw diet which I know helps my immune system but I am curious if theres any sort of food I could eat to help speed skin healing...I don't want to go to the doctor but I really don't want a nasty scar!! Any advice?? Thanks! rawjules
Guest guest
I did that years ago - and the doctor that treated me - bandaged it and gave me some salve to put on. I washed it off after a couple of days and soaked it in Epsom salts and left it open. (That's what I knew at the time - it was well diluted with luke warm water) It still has a " whitish " spot on my right calf. It was deep and I could barely walk - and painful. I feel bad for you. Another thing that helped another burn was aloe vera juice directly from the plant - it helped my son when he was little. This worked better than what the doctor told me to do. A more technical - mind/spirit - help is to go over the event in your mind exactly as it happened several times. Like before you got on the bike - the riding - then when you made contact with the leg - when it started to hurt - when you removed your leg - when you got off the bike etc. Go over it many times until you can get nothing new from the incident and you feel better. The " spirit " heals the body - no doubt - whether guiding our minds to make right choices or in healing. Also visualize cooling energy - like ice at the spot. Then relax and read a book and put your feet up - enjoy the rest. Heal fast. Louise <<2a. Re: burn help! Guest guest
There ya go... you don't know - until later. Open and less stuff on seems best - nature - our bodies heal and mind heals best sometimes without too much stuff on the wound. Seems it has to spend a lot of energy getting the " stuff " off. I just said what I did in the past ... presently - would use less of or non of anything. Louise <<2b. Re: burn help!
