Guest guest
The last two weeks I have just had an excess of energy, that I didn't know what to do with. I started walking three miles, and last week managed to fit it into my schedule three times. My goal for this week it to get to do the three mile walk four times. The first half of my walk is a gradual incline and I spend about 1/2 of it thinking " whose stupid idea was this anyway? The second 1/2 of my walk is of course the return trip and is doing back down hill. Its a wonderful feeling physically as well as knowing that you can accomplish what you set out to do, and a definite way to use that excess energy. The things I notice along the way are amazing too. The wild flowers. I had no idea the birds were so loud! The smell of the corn growing all around. And a revelation too, I always read what other people on this list are saying when they talk about the raw places to eat, and all the health food stores they can shop in... some times I wish I lived some place else. Then my revelation, those same people don't have the awesome view that I have! Well, I need to get back to work. Have a great day! Leah Get on board. You're invited to try the new Mail Beta. Guest guest
I just have to comment on this. Until recently, I lived in London (UK), a massive, exciting, but polluted and stressful city. Since I've started questioning established norms (including the need to eat meat and dairy and cook food), I've made so many changes to my life, just my thinking about what I really want. A few months ago I felt stuck in London forever, and started imagining something better, now my home is right by the sea, a few minutes walk from the beautiful countryside of the English South Downs. Don't think 'I never see it coming', just tell the universe what you want and it will happen sooner than you can imagine! --- " Gypsi at www.aromaticwings.com " <aromatic_wings wrote: > Leah, > I never paid much attention to where others lived > but sounds like you live in a place I would die to > be..
