Has anyone noticed a change in their sense of smell since going raw? I think

mine is more sensitive. The smell of fried food is horrible, but even things

like the fabric softener dyer sheets and my husband's cologne. Maybe it's just

me, but my nose has been on high alert for a while. Weird, huh?

I'm with you..

It seems that most " food " that people eat smells rancid to me. The worst

smell for me right now is cheese - any kind. :shudder:

If the dryer sheets smell strong - and you still want to use them, try

putting them in half - or even quarters. You'll still get the softness in

your laundry. Better yet, put some vinegar in your washing machine - works

great as a fabric softener.

Hi Leah,

No, it's not weird.

When we eat raw, we are feeding our bodies high vibrational energy foods

that detox and nourish our bodies. When our bodies are toxic, we often

can't smell or taste what is toxic to us-it's too overwhelming. Toxic

substances also have low vibrational frequencies.

As your body detoxes and heals, your body can much more easily sense what is

toxic to it, is of a low vibrational energy, and telling you what to stay

away from. The healthier you are, the higher your vibrational frequency,

and the more your body wants more higher vibrational substances- food, air,

etc. As we heal, we also begin to trust ourselves and our senses much more.

Be well,

Ack!! Yes, my sense of smell is off the charts. Especially the stinky stuff

and it's driving me nuts!!! I can smell the musty smell in the bathroom from

too much moisture, I can smell the neighbors laundry sheets, I even know when

the teenager next door is smoking and wether it's pot or a cigarette!!!

I walk the dog at 5 a.m. and I can tell you who's smoking, doing laundry, having

bacon for breakfast, is idling their car, I even smelled burnt toast one day!

That is so funny -- synchronistic -- I'm just reading this and I'm in my back

living room

*smelling* (rather, putting up with) our neighbor's grill! My partner who is

mostly raw

(because he eats what I prepare if he gets home late but will cook his own food

occasionally) just said to me " I think she's grilling fish and it STINKS! Isn't

there a STINK

ordinance in this town? " And it does -- it smells awful. Then he thought maybe

it's

because we don't grill fish any longer......

PS -- I do notice all kinds of food tasting so much better than they've ever

tasted before.

It's wonderful!

PSS -- To the person living in Dallas wanting a country life -- I for one LOVE

Dallas, but if

you want to live in the country you can. Just don't say things like " I don't

think it'll ever

happen " . Just set your mind to what you want and you can have anything! I teach

manifestation classes, and just by writing your dreams down or saying something

like, " I

will own a house in the country in 5 years " works! Contact me privately if you

want to talk

more about it.
