you had better be careful with those children and check with all the experts

since they are in a transitional stage of growth - they can take your children

from you about that (Child Welfare) Its happening a lot now

I am a stay at home mum, with 4 children (6,4,2,and 8 months), which we are

homeschooling. I have read alot about raw food for the last 3 weeks and am ready

to take

the plunge as it all makes so much sense!!!

QUESTION: Can I start 100% raw or do I need to wean myself into it? I understand

there will

be a detox period and cravings, but that is all part of it I am sure. When

people say 80% raw,

what does that mean exactly?

Also, my baby is exclusively breastfed. I want to start him on raw. Is this all

right to do?

Besides, avocado, soft fruits etc, what else do I give him? A dietician friend

of mine, said the

raw diet is not good for my children as there will be deficiencies. Can I give

my children raw

all day and maybe a fresh salad, with maybe rice or potatoes for dinner?

There are just so many conflicting opinions, so I thought I would ask the

experts!!

Thank you for your time

P.S What would be a good beginners book for me?

Hi Hinarera,

I'm new too (going on 6 months).

Have you heard of the Raw Family?

http://www.rawfamily.com/

Or how about Raw Kids?

http://www.livingspiritfoundation.org/rawkidsnew.htm

Or Raising Raw-Vegan Children?

http://www.raw-pleasure.com/raw-food-diet/raising-vegan-children-

ebook-storm-jinjee-p-105.html

I don't know which is the best approach but it's something to

research. :-)
