This is the first I have heard about salt and vinegar in the washer.

What type of salt do you used and how much? Is it as damaged as

chlorine bleach? Does it fade the colors? How much vinegar in the rinse

cycle? What does the vinegar actually do? What is a dryer ball?

Inquiring minds want to know :-)

What is the importance of acidic vs alkaline? Bleach is an acid which

is hard on your clothes. I suspect the same is true for bases.
