Guest guest
Last time I checked, there were about 116,000 chemicals in permitted use in the United States. Of these, about 3000 -- yes, that IS the correct number of zeros -- have ever been safety tested in any manner whatsoever. If you are using anything at all that contains chemicals, and if you don't check them out one by one, you are at risk. We all are. And every time we buy any product that contains such chemicals, we are proactively, voluntarily, as a freewill act, voting for continued use and development of these chemicals. Just a few thoughts. The closest thing to me with ingredients to try was my Bath and Body Works Sweet Pea hand cream. The first word I searched was cyclopentasiloxane. The result was a bit shocking. " Ranked as one of the most hazardous compounds (worst 10%) to ecosystems. " The second chemical I tried from the same hand cream was stearic acid, and I discovered its also used in pesticides. They said the third time's a charm so I tried alanine and found the following about it: Developmental Toxicant Suspected: Gastrointestinal or Liver Toxicant Neurotoxicant Respiratory Toxicant Skin or Sense Organ Toxicant So, no more Bath & Body Works for me! Enjoy the site. Leah www.stampyleah.blogspot.com Messenger with Voice. Make PC-to-Phone Calls to the US (and 30+ countries) for 2¢/min or less.
