Guest guest
HI Debbie, Yes, people experiencing Lupus have had wonderful results with RF. People with lupus are often particularly sensitive to the distinctions among different approaches to raw. For example, the heavy raw foods -- nuts, seed, grains, oils -- are not helpful (to put it gently). I actually knew and worked with one woman who charted, food by food, her body's response, even the time interval from when she ate a food to when a response seemed to occur. The fruits and greens worked best, by far. The grains were disastrous. Of equal value, fasting often helps with lupus considerably. In fact, I've seen people walk away from lupus entirely after fasting a couple of times. The fasting duration varies, of course, but we're talking about, say, a couple of 2-4 week long fasts. These are full fasts on water, not going to work, really resting. Now is a FABULOUS time of year for this (in the northern hemisphere), as one can be outdoors, get a nice mix of sunlight and shaded outdoor light, etc. Being away from one's " normal " environment can be a real plus for many people. Perhaps someone who lives in a nice tropical place would love to offer a spot to hang out in ????? (Subtle, eh?) If you (or whoever) were to consider such a fast, it would be best by FAR to work on the diet first for a bit. It is far easier to REestablish a good diet after a fast than to establish one that was not present before the fast. Please ask if you wish to hear more on this.
