Guest guest
Since we have been talking about what is toxic and whats not lately, I thought I would share this website I just learned about from my environmental science class. www.scorecard.org While I was reading on the site, I decided to search for a chemical name. The closest thing to me with ingredients to try was my Bath and Body Works Sweet Pea hand cream. The first word I searched was cyclopentasiloxane. The result was a bit shocking. " Ranked as one of the most hazardous compounds (worst 10%) to ecosystems. " The second chemical I tried from the same hand cream was stearic acid, and I discovered its also used in pesticides. They said the third time's a charm so I tried alanine and found the following about it: Developmental Toxicant Suspected: Gastrointestinal or Liver Toxicant Neurotoxicant Respiratory Toxicant Skin or Sense Organ Toxicant So, no more Bath & Body Works for me! Enjoy the site. Leah www.stampyleah.blogspot.com Messenger with Voice. Make PC-to-Phone Calls to the US (and 30+ countries) for 2¢/min or less.
