Question about protein in veggies

I was told that broccoli had more protein than steak, but according to

fitday, that is not accurate.

I would assume that fitday is accurate.

Thoughts on this?

More protein PER CALORIE, that is, per unit of available energy. FitDay is not

particularly

accurate in fact, Nutridiary is more accurate, though also off by quite a bit on

some things.

Reason: use of standard conversion factors rather than food-specific factors.

The latter would

require much more effort to implement, but they attempt to take into account

energy lost through

digestion itself, and other factors.
