Hi Tiffany,

It's Janice again. I'll answer your question about the sprouts.I

just eat the adzuki, lentil and pea sprouts in my salad. Don't know

how to make the sprouts yet but hope to learn in the next few months.

The parsley and cilantro sounds good in your smoothie. I'll have to

experiment with my fruit smoothie sometime.

Have a good evening.

Hi again Janice,

I guess I shouldn't worry about missing out on anything if I never

eat kale? It's just that I've seen it mentioned in so many areas of

raw food info.

Your green smoothie sounds yummy with pear. Right now, this morning,

I'm really really enjoying mine - I keep a Magic Bullet blender at

work and put 2 medium sized bananas in it with a couple small ice

cubes, 1/4 cup of purified water, a handful of cilantro and a

handful of parsley. IT IS SO GOOD! The energy from the parsley in

specific makes me feel like bouncing on my ball chair in front of

everyone!

What do you do with your adzuki, lentil and pea sprout mix? I buy

those too, but never get around to eating them cause I'm not much of

a bean (or grain) eater. But if there's some way to blend them into

a hummus or something, I'm sure I'd make the effort. I haven't been

able to find a recipe, just a recommendation to throw them into a

salad, and that just didn't appeal to me.

Thanks!

Janice,

Last January I found a good website that I found helpful in sprouting. It's

www.sproutpeople.com . Every seed they sell is organic, too. Very informative.

I'll have to check them again for a bean sprout recipe.
