Louise _____ Well, I don't wish to wax religious here, but someone pointed out to me the following: from the Biblical text (Genesis), prior to the Flood, many are reported to have lived hundreds of years. Then, coming out of the Flood, permission is given to eat meat. Within ten generations, the typical lifespan is well under 100 years. Maybe it's just a story ...
