Guest guest
I have the OMEGA 8001 and really think that it does a great job. I made a fruit smoothie in my blender the other day with blackberries in it. I had to use a strainer afterwards to get all the seeds out because I just couldn't stomach that many seeds in my drink. It took me FOREVER!!! So later on that evening I decided to make juice. I made orange juice with one half of the oranges. I made a mixture of juices with the 2nd half of the oranges. Then I decided to give the black berries a try. I put the strainer on the container that catches the juice and I found that NONE of the seeds came out if the juicing part. They all came out the pulp side. I was amazed. I have had mine for years, but never really used it a whole lot until going raw recently. But I do not dread getting it out. I think it is very easy to use and it is generally simple to clean. (depends upon what you have juiced as to how much you need to scrub the strainer. I just checked and found one on ebay for you. It is currently at $25.00. http://cgi.ebay.com/Omega-8001-Juicer-like-8003-and-8005_W0QQitemZ250016 454228QQihZ015QQcategoryZ20677QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Looks like a great deal if you are okay with buying used for a great savings. Guest guest
I use the Samson 3-in-1 juicer... i've had it over 4 years, and it's still going strong! Easy to use, very sturdy, so easy to clean, and the parts are warranteed for 5 years, i think. Motor 10 years. It will juice wheatgrass, in addition to pretty much ANYTHING else. I highly recommend it. I bought mine on ebay for maybe $250.... -- Kassia Fiedor 510.882.4703 miessence Certified Organic Skin Care, Hair Care, Health Care & Cosmetic Products *www.GreenLifeOrganics.com* " Food for your skin, literally! Guest guest
I had a Champion which was quite good. I sold it for $50 because I got a Vita-Mix and like that better. Guest guest
Hi, Randall, I almost got a juicer on eBay but the guy I talked to really didn't like them at all (and he was selling it!!)- he said that they take all the good nutriants and fiber out and leave tasty sugar water. I believed him and skipped the juicer; got out the blender (he recommends the new Vita-Mix) and food processor and when the recipe says juice of one apple, I grind up the whole thing and I can't tell that it makes a difference in the food I'm making. Have fun. Cheers, Dana rawfood , " randall " <chefbeerman wrote: > > I am buying a new juicer this week which is the best with quality of > juice and long life of juicer. Guest guest
I just bought the Omega 4000 and after much researching for both the juicer and price...I ended up ordering from CostPlusJuicers.com. They'll send you a list of prices appreciably less than what they advertise on their website too. They shipped quickly. I have no complaints at all Jane Edenfield boxers1 > > > rawfood , " randall " <chefbeerman wrote: > > > > I am buying a new juicer this week which is the best with quality of > > juice and long life of juicer.
