Guest guest
I think that I may have discovered what works for me in the mornings. YEAH!!! My last two morning's breakfast has consisted of two mangos blended, a handful (to a cup) of cherries and a little bit of dried coconut. This has filled me up until lunch time. Also I have not had nuts in two days. For me it is either all or none. I don't have the will power right now to have just a few, because that just makes me crave them more. So I will go without until I am standing firm on both feet with this way of eating. (and I lost 2 pound in those last two days, hmmm, hope that keeps up) I have to say that I have had beets and zucchini raw for the first time and I LOVE them....never thought I would. I made a really wonderful soup with them and more the other night. Also, I would love to know if anyone else had this reaction: I have, like most others, an engagement ring and a wedding ring. But in the last few days I have an intense itching around my ring finger to the point where I can not wear either ring. Wearing my wedding ring is ok because it is fairly thin, but wearing both drives me nuts as it itches so badly. Could I all of a sudden be experiencing an allergy to my rings? Would this have anything to do with eating raw? Oh, they are made of platinum if that matters. And I don't really want to retire my rings as I have grown quite accustomed to them. Thanks everyone, Aphrodite Eau Claire, WI
Guest guest
I am curious about the nuts you are eating. Are they raw? A couple of years ago I realized that I could not stop eating salted nuts even if they were making me sick. Raw nuts I have not had a problem with. As for the itching, since going raw, I have rashes and crazy itching on my fore arms off and on. Mostly after I eat or change clothes. So far it doesn't seem to be linked to any food. Others have mentioned rashes as part of detox. Tammy On Aug 13, 2006, at 3:07 PM, Aphrodite Blue wrote: > I think that I may have discovered what works for me in the mornings. > YEAH!!! Guest guest
Thanks for the information. As for the nuts, all that I eat are raw. They range from Walnuts, to almonds, pinenuts, to pecans or cashews. But, I have not had any in three days. Although yes I used to prefer the taste of roasted/ salted over raw nuts. But now I have really grown to love the sweetness and hardiness of the raw nut. I was actually gaining weight by the amount of nuts that I was eating. But my body is used to the low fat diet as I had been on a strict low fat, high protein, low calorie and up to 226 carbs diet for the last 20 weeks.
