[Rawschool] Need reading materical for why Organics are better

 

 

My mind has gone blank of where to find and what to read.. Can someone list a

few things be it

articles, books with authors, websites.. that state clearly why organics is

better then

conventional foods.?? Trying to offer this advise to someone who has asked for

it.

 

The only thing that came to mind fast was " The China Study "

Please be aware that organic foods are NOT always better in terms of nutrient

value. The primary

issue is the overall condition of the soil. While many, primarily smaller,

organic farmers do

nurture their soil for the long term, many larger organic producers engage in

factory farming

practices quite similar to those used by their " commercial " counterparts.

 

 

 

Buy from your local farmers whenever you can!!! Go to the farmers markets, TALK

to the farmers.

Really, it does a mind and body good!

 

 

 

Organic foods ARE usually better, in that they contain smaller quantities of

pesticide,

herbicide, fungicide, etc. residues, and these of course are not " good for us " .
