I would just like to add that I used to think of Salt (NaCl) as poison

when I got into Raw Veganism in 1993. After experimenting with Salt on

my own body for many years I have noticed that it helps in maintaining

blood volume when my blood pressure gets too low and I suffer from

fainting. It also seems to balance out potassium salts in the body. I

tend to crave salt if I stick with fruit too long without eating enough

" salty " greens. Also, noticing the amount of salt in the ocean, hot

springs, and other nature spots as well as watching wild animals seek

it, has led me to believe that a little bit may be balancing in certain

situations.
