I have been trying to perfect using the food dehydrator and it has been a little bit of a challenge. Does anyone have experience in dehydrating tomatoes? If you do could you please tell me the proper way to do it. Temperature of dehydtrator, how thin to slice, dehydrating time, and what the tomatoes should feel like when they are done. Some of the ones I did smell almost burnt and I'm wondering if I left them in too long. Also how should they be stored and how long will dehydrated tomatoes keep? Thanks!
