Guest guest
At the farmer's market on Saturday there was a booth selling Monavie drink. It comes in a wine bottle and its a super mix of berries and fruit featuring the acai berry. It didn't have anything but actual juice, no added sugar, no weird chemicals I couldn't pronounce. I read the info and it said they use flash pasteurization, which quickly heats it instead of lengthy cooking to preserve more nutrients. Its about $40 bucks a bottle, tasted yummy and I'm sure has lots of good stuff in it. I was just wondering if any of you out there in raw food land had heard of it or have any comments. Guest guest
If it's " flash pasturized " it's cooked. Just make your own juices and you'll get a better bang for your buck. Think of how many juices or smoothies you could make for $40 and they would be fresh! What is in that bottle is not fresh by a long shot, nor is it enzyme rich. The enzymes died in the " flash pasturizing " . Shari
