Flu shots!

Ahh, we are back to the lovely time of year when everyone and their brother

starts pushing flu shots. I just got an email from the office manager in my

firm that said they are looking for 100% participation this year. What ever! I

have spent the last 7 months improving my immune system (and my life) with raw

foods and I will be *@%*@% if I am going to have a flu shot for them. For those

of you who remember my work saga from last Feb / March the office manager is the

same meeting planner who gave me such trouble over my eating choices during our

required company lunches.

 

By the way, I am actually looking forward to cold and flu season this year

because I know I am better prepared than I have ever been.

I'm with you Leah! I was sick a lot as a kid (grew up with a smoker in the

house, ate lots of bolonga and Wonder bread etc) but the only time I got the flu

as an adult was when I was ignorant enough to get the flu shot!!
