I don't want this to sound like a " one-up " contest, but if people are

wondering what machine is best....

My Champion can make pates, homogenize nuts and seeds for cracker

dough, and also make frozen fruit sorbets and banana ice cream.

I've never had a Green Star, but I've heard a bit about them. They

don't show up at amazing prices on ebay, while the Champion does. (I

got my circa 1975 Champion on ebay for $119.00)

For people on a budget, a Champion from ebay might be the way to go.

If you have never had a fancy juicer at all, you won't be

disappointed... it works really nicely, quite quickly (in comparison

with anything I had ever used before), and it cleans up easily.

I'm always very glad that Judy recommended looking at the Champions on

ebay...(i've just been over there and there are a boatload of

Champions for very good prices -- don't know how high they might go,

but that is the fun of it-- just read the descriptions carefully.)
