Guest guest
I wouldn't eat that, let alone give it to my child. The combination is horrendous. The poor kid would have such a tummy ache. Why not just some good, raw almond butter with celery sticks and/or apple slices? Shari
Guest guest
Christina: I am confused by your recipe... You list first 2 T nutritional yeast, and then 3 T nutritional yeast ???? is this 5 T nutritional yeast or what? You list Chick pea miso or salt -- but you don't say how much. > 1/2 Cup Cashews=Soak 3 hrs > 2 Tblspns Nutritional Yeast > 2 Dates soaked > 3 TBLSPNS Nutritional Yeast > Chick Pea Miso or Salt > A splash of Olive oil > Water- to thin the consistency > Juice of 1 lemon- 3TBLSPN > 1/2 tspn Dry Mustard > 1 tspn Basil > 1 Tablespoon Dill. > Put everything in a food processor and blend with the s blade. Guest guest
I have to admit it doesn't look that good- what is it supposed to taste like, and why are kids supposed to like it? What does it taste good with? Also, why is the nutritional yeast listed twice? T

Guest guest
Thanks for that Christina, That has got to be better than any other store bought dip I am sure, regardless of whether the combination is horrendous or not. Guest guest
I thought the same thing, but was wondering if it was just the fact that I am just a picky child myself. Before I decided to go raw, my children ate their vegetables more than I did, but I realized that I love them raw, when the taste of them cooked did not appeal to me. I just found a recommendation for South River Miso Company chick pea miso. I saw some today in the store -- it said non-pasteurized.
