Guest guest
Okay, wrong holiday, but I have just scored a major bunch of recipes for Passover Seder (it will come back around in a few months, anyway) Just remember that the recipes are here... I have put them in their own Passover folder, and I've crossreferenced a few in other folders, as well. Please do feel free to post recipes for other holidays... Ummmm... Thanksgiving is coming up..... So's Christmas... And New Year's.... And then it will be Passover time, which we *are* ready for... and Easter.... As I have been working through the list archives, from 1998 (I'm up to mid-2003 at present), I have noticed that precious few people have been very sharing when it comes to recipes (Judy has been kind enough to share her blog address with us, so we could cadge recipes from there, and so has Tommie, but that is just about it). As a matter of fact, the bulk of the recipes which are in the recipe files come from my following links which people have mentioned, as opposed to people sharing recipes that work for them. Why do you suppose that is? Margaret
Guest guest
Well, for this one, I am brand new and checking you guys out. I know I need to eat more raw and when I see what works for others along with good receipes I am sure it will encourage me to eat more raw. I do things pretty simply. I don't have many 'raw' receipes. Was hoping to get some ideas. If you can manage to find your way to rawfoodFOOD%20MANAGEMENT%20%26%20NUTRITION/\ EQUIPMENT%20INFO/ (the EXACT URL to the raw food recipe files) you can find lots of EASY and MEDIUM EASY and REALLY FANCY recipes that have been proven by people we know here. I, for one, lazy as I am, am way into " can food-process it in one batch " kind of food. Nevertheless, sometimes I will break down and food process a couple of batches (tonight will be spiralized zucchini pasta with my recipe of ground sunflower seed/tahini and other stuff pate as the " meat " , and my own spicy tomato sauce -- this will be " sort of bolognese " sauce, I think, but spicier. My new addition is an attempt, from a cookbook, of " instant " " parmesan " which I think I will work on some more another day-- it doesn't " look like " what I want, although it tastes good) Okay, that's four batches. How many pots do you use for an average dinner? I've just used and washed and reused the food processor 4 times. How simple is that? Okay, there are even easier recipes in the files. Way easy like " put these vegetables in a bowl and put oil and vinegar on top " . And there is everything in between. Go there. See that. Guest guest
Margaret, you observe Sabbath? I observe Sabbath. My Hebrew calendar uses the full moon not cresent moon. I observe festivals in Scripture not holidays. I am interested in good raw receipes. I guess I can look in my receipe books too.
