Guest guest
I would like to second Kristi¹s request, because I too use a Mac & cannot access these recipes (which everyone speaks so highly about). Guest guest
Hi, As I wrote before I can't open the recipes either and want to know from from someone if they can get the recipes for me I hope that not all can't get into it. Guest guest
I was able to open the ebook (Raw-Food-Read-and-Share.exe) on my Mac using Virtual PC. But there was no way to convert this Windows file to another format. When I initially clicked on the FREE EBOOK link with my Mac, a pop-up window said: " We're looking into a Mac-friendly version for the future. To be notified when it's available, send a blank email to applemac and feel free to visit the raw- pleasure.com.au forum recipe section for more inspiration. Guest guest
Thank you for your reply, Jan. I just can't bring myself to put out the $200. or so for Virtual PC, and I have already sent the email for future notification, so I'll just wait. Guest guest
Hey there, I have Parallels running on my Mac, which has an old copy of Adobe Acrobat Professional on it, which allows you to " print " to a PDF file. Hence, I was able to make a PDF of all the recipes, which is about 40 pages long or so. If anyone wants a copy of this, just write to me directly at rbrigleb at gmail.com, and I'll send it. I'm not sure if it's totally legal to post it on here or I would. Also, we might put in favorite recipes from that book on goneraw.com if we have a chance. It seems like a good booklet, but it's a real shame to make it in an icky, Windows-only format like that. Guest guest
Anyone who needs something that will open any format anywhere anytime, download OpenOffice from http://www.openoffice.org. It's free and a full-featured office suite and it works with most, if not all, the operating systems out there. Shari sent me the eBook and OpenOffice opened it just fine! Thanks, Shari! You're amazing! Guest guest
Tommie - I don't think that is the book you're thinking it is! I don't remember sending you a book. Did it come as a Word document? Was it called Thanksgiving recipes or something like that? If so, that was a gift from me to you and it came from VegWriter Magazine, Judy Pokras. You are too funny!! Guest guest
It is Thanksgiving recipes and I do appreciate it! I printed it off and showed it to the dietary supervisor. She read some of them and said she didn't know what a lot of the ingredients are. Then she started talking about how some foods are so refined that there's no nutrition left. I'm hoping people are beginning to think about what they are eating! Tommie http://reallyrawfood.com rawfood , " SV " <shavig wrote: > > Tommie - I don't think that is the book you're thinking it is!
