Virtually all of us were inspired to take the leap to become closer

members, treasured human beings who will change our lives forever!

I've lost count of how many of us have reported meeting new creative

5. ANNOUNCING RAW SPIRIT 2007! Mark your calendar for September

21st - 24th, 2007. Thank you for all your valuable feedback from

this year's event. We've taken multiple suggestions into

consideration, which has inspired me to start preparing for the next

festival now. Realizing the unexpected challenges that beset us this

year with, for example, portapotties (my profound apologies for this

situation which was beyond my control), rain emergencies, kitchen

orderliness and meal preparation... we have wonderful news! We are

securing a beautiful Sedona retreat location replete with many cute

cabins with 75 beds and 25 beautiful campsites on lovely lawns

available to the first 100 participants. The 2007 venue is Three

Times more expensive than the 2006 venue. The price will be the same

for all, regardless of their accommodation. The price includes seven

gourmet ethnic raw vegan feasts, healthful snacks, educational

booths & giveaways, Raw Spirit Prizes, Talent Show Prizes, fantastic

music, canyon hiking, wild plant and herb walks, cool creek dipping,

hot showers (!), and onsite cabin or camping accommodation for the

first 100 who register. Though it is located on 15 spectacular

acres, maximum daytime/early evening capacity is approximately 250.

 

 

6. RAW SPIRIT FEST 2007 TICKETS NOW ON SALE. Just today we commenced

offering tickets for sale on www.RawSpiritFest.com at a very

discounted special price ($250) available to wonderful and highly

appreciated You for the next few days until it changes to $300 this

Friday November 3rd and will increase again on New Year's Day. So,

either way this is still an in-house, early-bird price. A few people

are buying tickets in bunches. One very generous participant is

purchasing 10 to give away to friends. Be forewarned that the

tickets will likely sell out. The private venue is located in a

sheer redrock canyon featuring charming old-fashioned stone and wood

cottage-style architecture including an exquisite stone

amphitheater, a spacious indoor meeting octagon(we're ready in case

it rains), perhaps a dozen wooden cabins for accommodation, 2 acres

of luscious lawns, ideal for yoga, sitting and relaxation, with a

small clear creek gingerly meandering through it... Vendors and

participants will love this new location which is far far more

gorgeous and dreamy than the 2005 and 2006 locations! The only

problem I foresee with this location is that everyone will wish to

stay forever!

 

 

7. RAW SPIRIT RESTAURANT The best news about this venue is that

for our Cherished Chefs there is a commercial on-site kitchen

featuring deep metal sinks, hot water, ample counter tops, freezers,

refrigerators and room behind the kitchen for a refrigerated truck.

Experienced raw chefs with professional assistants will cater to us

with an ongoing restaurant from 7 am to 9 pm. Guests can eat what

they like when they like with their seven colored meal tickets

received upon entering. There is an elevated wooden deck with many

wooden tables just outside the kitchen door for our dining

convenience and beautifully ambient, viewy dining pleasure. Chefs

will offer an exciting variety of dishes and drinks on an ever-

changing menu. We will continue to honor the Spirit of our meals

graciously with three meditation-singing-consciousness-stretching-

prayers enjoyed in a sacred way throughout the day.

 

8. ENTERTAINERS AND SPEAKERS ARE RETURNING! If you loved this year's

entertainers, it seems all of them will be coming back in 2007! As

well as other musicians, including Shimshai. Several of the speakers

have already committed, and we invite you to help us discover new

dynamic speakers between now and then. Jasmuheen of Australia will

be delighting us with her enlightening-breatharian sparkles of what

may be possible. Those interested in assisting as 'volunteers' are

encouraged to apply to join our Management Staff soon for 2007.

 

 

9. BECAUSE WE LOVE TO PLAY while we learn, next year speakers will

lead interactive dynamic playshops which engage the intelligence of

all our senses rather than give speeches. If there is a raw speaker
