Guest guest
Hi, group, I am new to the group, and have really learned a lot so far. I am not 100% raw, but am enjoying learning about new ways of food preparation and how to use ingredients that were previously foreign to me. One thing I wanted to mention about the PUREarth products. The company states on their website that they use methylparaben and propylparaben to preserve their products. These are chemicals that may have a link to cancer. Just a heads-up... Guest guest
Hi, guys Lacey's suggestion is awesome - i am actually a rep for miessence, and in addition to being the first personal care products in the *world *to be certified organic to food standards - (edible!) - they are also RAW! As a raw foodist myself, i know how important it is to use products on my skin that i would eat! Guest guest
I too have noticed that most supposedly healthy shampoos and soaps have many chemicals in them- just check the list of ingredients! One line I like is Aubrey Organics, available in health food stores in the US. it is fairly moderately priced. This includes the Lush line someone mentioned. Another I just saw is called John Masters Organics. I have not used their shampoos- it is a fairly pricy line, but they have other haircare products such as styling gels and sprays that have no chemicals in them, and they really work! Most organic haircare products are awful. I am using their stylng gel now and I highly recommend it. Then there is always Dr Bronner's soap- for a good all purpose shampoo.
