Guest guest
Thank you allll soooo much for turning me on to loosing the shampoo and, instead, using baking soda and apple cider vinegar!!! I started using it last Friday. I wanted to go into the weekend with it in case my hair was a bit scary for a while. But, to my amazement, my hair was immediately wonderful!! Lots of body and shine. Even feels very soft! This is incredible as my hair is very thin and usually just lays there....lifeless. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else would actually notice. I wasn't around too many folks this past weekend, but I went to work today and was around quite a few. Went all day and not a word about the hair from anyone. Then finally, right at the end of the day, a girl I work with stopped by my desk and asked, " What have you done to your hair? Did you have it fixed differently? " She was astonished to find that I had not been using shampoo and, in fact, had no product in my hair (that is how much body I have now). She said it looks great and is so shiny! I was thrilled. PLUS she wanted to know all the details of how I do it? Cool, eh? -- Gwendolyn Morgan Please Help: http://www.active.com/donate/tntwi/gkm -- Everything will be okay in the end If it's not okay, it' s not the end. --- Unknown
Guest guest
Very cool Gwendolyn! So do you wet your hair, then apply the baking soda, rinse, then ACV? Thanks, Shari
Guest guest
Yes, I wet the hair, mix water with the baking soda. Massage the paste into my hair and scalp (mostly scalp). I don't know if I need to or not, but I let it sit a bit, rise with water, do the baking soda thing again, rinse it out and then rise with the ACV. I then also rinse with water again to ensure that I don't smell like a salad I am totally amazed by the results! On 11/15/06, SV <shavig wrote: > > Very cool Gwendolyn! Guest guest
I just joined and can't find this thread about what it is you are using and how much and how you are doing it. Nor did I find it in the files. Of course I am not real good at this type of search. Would you tell me? Thanks a lot. Oh, did it have to be apple cider vinegar and not white? linda - " Gwendolyn Morgan " <gmorgan17 > Thank you allll soooo much for turning me on to loosing the shampoo and, > instead, using baking soda and apple cider vinegar!!! Guest guest
Don't know. I approach it the way I cook. I little here, a little there. So, I just sprinkle it over my head and work in with my fingers. I know....bad, eh? Guest guest
Okay...I can't remember who on this posted about this first (I am grateful to that person). But, after hearing a few talk about it, I gave it a try and really like it. Granted I don't do it exactly as instructed (I never do)....but, what I do is: - Wet Hair - Mix a soda and water enough to make a paste - Massage into hair and scap - Wait a couple minutes - Rinse w/Water - Repeat - Rinse with Apple Cidar Vinegar - Rinse with Water - (I don't measure anything) Hope this helps.
