Guest guest
I was watching that video online tonight that everyone's talking about-- 'The Secret " -- some of which I totally flat out disagree with, but of course there are kernels of great truth in it too. Anyway, I was listening to all of these 'experts' yammering on and on about how you can be really, really rich and powerful and totally unlimited, blah blah blah, and make all the money you want and have all these things (rather than focusing on the more important core states, it seems to me, like love, joy, peace, well-being. . .)-- things like expensive cars, mansions, infinitely huge bank accounts, etc.-- and as I considered what really matters to me and what I really desire in life, I felt so much gratitude for the realization that deep down, I don't want to be rich or have a great gas guzzler (I don't have or want a car at all, in fact). In my universe, the true wealth is the knowledge of supreme and radiant health, joy and well-being, and its foundation is this deep spiritual interconnectedness of all Life that gives us reverence for the earth and all its inhabitants, and a desire to protect and nourish all of us, which entails stewardship of the delicate resources we have available. I have to admit there are some 'things' I really do want to attract: an abundance of organic strawberries and mangos!!; a lifetime supply of gorgeous natural produce that is affordable and grown by real farmers, not giant agri-businesses; a body that is always rejuvenating... for starters. ;-) Access over 1 million songs - Music Unlimited. A man will say he wants to be king, when he's thinking that being king ensures a comfortable chair, a tasty lunch and a little lovin'. That pineapple I bought recently smells ripe -- like I'm one third the way to being king. David King
