Curious about Candidiasis

Good evening folks! Bear with me, I am new to this and only want to

learn the facts. In my opinion, you are a well informed and

experienced group. There is much information out there to try and

sort through and my head is reeling. Can you please educate me why

Candidiasis is so bad for you. I understand how yeast infections are

an indication that your body is in a state of unbalance and you should

therefore try to bring it back to a state of balance. I understand

that yeast grows out of control when your load of probiotics are low

(due to an imbalance in the body). But what else am I missing here?

I'm playing the Devil's Advocate when I ask (doesn't mean I agree,

but I would like to know the answer myself), why is it that only

recently Candidiasis has come to the forefront as one of THE major

afflictions you work so desperately to try and avoid? Haven't we had

this affliction all along (in one way or another, or when we are ill)

and our bodies dealt with it by coming back into a state of

homeostasis and healing itself? Understandably, human diets in

general have been nowhere close to " natural " for centuries. I guess I

just wonder if it is one of those things that the body is used to

handling and maybe we are over-reacting? Please educate me. I'd

rather get my bearings here on this information than elsewhere.

Thank you!
