The best book I have ever seen on the subject, particularly if you are going to

self treat is

The Yeast Connection Handbook by Dr. William G. Crooks.

This is one of the oldest books on the subject (if not *the* oldest), and it is

still the most thorough and the most on the mark.

Interestingly, what Dr. Crooks says dovetails nicely with things Brian Clements

has said.
