Guest guest
Lesa, there's lots of fiber in raw food and a tremendous amount of water in the whole ones (unless you are dehydrating). It took my body a good year to adjust and allow me to have somewhat " normal " bowel movements. Even with that, there are times that I still have loose ones. Thing is, we have been used to what is normal for eating cooked food so we really don't know what they should be like. Unless you have accompanying stomach upset and/or vomiting, I wouldn't worry. If you're tired, you probably aren't getting enough calories. Do you have a fitday account? If you don't, set one up and see how much you are eating. For myself, I use a base of 1200 calories and add 3-500 based on my activity level. I follow the 811rv plan as far as ratio of carbs to fat and protein. I've lost 70+ pounds and am just a few away from my ideal. I don't know if I will get there or not. I still have some loose skin but it isn't enough for me to have surgery unless I plan to model bikinis for a living--which I don't. I do BodyFlex on a fairly consistent basis. It has helped to tighten up a lot of areas. It's based on Pilates. Yoga should help, too. Good luck!
