I have made choices of all sorts. I am responsible for all the choices I have made. If I have made a choice which I subsequently feel was a poor one, I am free to make another choice at any time. >What I need to find is some easy and tasty recipes for > one person to make ahead so I can grab and eat when > I come home from work. In addition to all the wonderful books and websites out there with really good recipes, there are quite a number of recipes on the list website rawfood Look in food management, once you tear yourself away from all the other information that is there. I've tried to make the recipe files easy to access... rather than a long list of recipes, they are grouped within folders, and grouped again within those folders... I have worked to make them self-explanatory ... when I find myself looking for a recipe that I know is there, that I cannot easily find, I re-arrange (so, if you've already been there, be patient.. and use your imagination to figure out where I have put them -- the most recent one I moved was Tomato-based Recipes -- in my life, tomato-based recipes are about as important as mayonnaise is to some other people, so I moved that folder to the same level as mayonnaise.) > I am starving when I come home. When I am starving when I get home, I find it very useful to include avocado in the food. That seems to calm me down very quickly. I know that some people are working on low fat, but it works for me. (actually, I do have to work to get even the minimum of fat in my food, so an avocado a day is not too much) Fat is the building block for cell walls, so I am not afraid of natural, good fats. the way I figure it, if we are eating only natural raw vegan foods, then the fat that comes in the actual foods cannot be so bad. I hope this helps. Margaret
