Well, am assuming that you wanted to lose those pounds :-) I've been raw for a couple of months BUT have not experienced a significant drop in weight :-( YET :-) I do eat a lot and am grateful for not counting calories - YET not putting on any weight. And it does seem as if my appetite isn't quite so voracious as it was with cooked......anyway, it feels positive for me weight wise and I'm encouraged by folks like you. Keep up the good raw work :-) rookielynn
Guest guest
That is good it take a long time to loose weight and get healthy and lots of hard work on our part. I'm comitminted to it more now then I was 6 mo ago. You have done more in 6 mo. then I have in 8-9mo this year. In the new year I want to get down do doing some fasts. Guest guest
That's great, Louise. Just about a pound a week. That's nothing to sneeze at. We get all caught up in the numbers and want to drop it quickly but I think slow is better. That gives your skin a chance to tighten up and not be saggy and baggy. Guest guest
Congrats! 29 lbs is alot of weight. When I first join the gym, the fitness instructor showed me a plastic example of what 1lb of fat looks like! YIKES! It was bigger than 1 of my fists!! 29 of those gone is sooo good for your heart! I would like to loose 10-15lbs. I have been raw 9 days and I've dropped 2lbs. rawfood , welltrainedmonkey wrote: > > > > >May not matter to many but I did loose 29 pounds in 6 months. Guest guest
If you do a real cleansing program you can lose more than 6 lbs a week. But the program is very specific. TRULY.
